  2. THE DATASHREDDER v1.00   (aka., The ResumeShredder)

  4. A handy little Data Destruction Utility hacked together by Piranha Tech.

  6. DataShredder will prompt you to choose ANY file on your hardisk, when you select "Destroy This File", DataShredder will replace the file with randomly generated characters, and delete it.

  8. These files become TOTALLY UNRECOVERABLE, so BE ABSOLUTELY SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING.  Destroyed files will be recoginized by various commercial Undelete and Unerase programs, but will only contain gibberish when recovered. This program has been tested on a Mac Plus, Classic, and IIcx using both System 6 and 7 with no problems.

  10. This program is unsupported freeware, use it as you like. The author claims NO RESPONSIBILITY for how you or anyone else uses this program. If you accidentally shred something.....TOO BAD!
